Like many other success stories that have come before us, our story is one of humble beginnings. A family recipe created in the heart of rural Mozambique and carefully handed down from generation to generation, finally arriving on our shores of sunny South Africa.


As we all know, South Africa is the land of opportunity and from here our secret sauce exploded from a cottage industry serving local taverns and shabeens, to what you see today, a unique peri peri sauce made from the finest grade of Birds Eye Chilli! We believe in “clean eating” and for this reason, only the freshest local ingredients are used, free from additives and artificial flavorings! Our unique sauces do not contain any MSG, no artificial colourants, no preservatives and is gluten free.


We are Halaal certified and our sauces are suitable for vegetarians. The result, a mouthwatering, peri peri fiesta! Nowadays food has become an art form, our specialized bottling reflects the history of the roots of our sauce and adds to your dining experience, whether it be to spread on top of your flame grilled chicken , steak or used as an accompaniment to freshly cooked seafood. Whatever the occasion, we bring the taste, smell and feel of “Africaz” straight to your table!

Variety is the spice of Life” so of course we have catered for everyone’s taste buds! Our sauces range from the “cautious food explorer” to the “courageous chilli connoisseur”!

What makes us special? Our recipe has not been changed by “big business” and is still made by the original family! Now that’s tradition in a bottle for you!

Our sauces are all bottled locally at our sauce factory in Durban North.
